He started with a single car valued at $1,600 and expanded this into an over $50 million per year automotive empire, owning or co-owning 15 car dealerships. He also created vertical businesses to support these dealerships, including paint shops, mechanic shops, and a finance company.

Transition to Renewable Energy:

After his success in the automotive sector, Preston transitioned into the renewable energy industry. He became the Chief Operating Officer of Metamorphosis Energy, a startup focused on renewable energy solutions. In this role, he helped commercial, industrial, and government entities integrate renewable energy into their operations. He led teh company to a successful exit in 2019.
